The Next Ad is absolutely delighted to be adding yet another feature to its ever-expanding platform! Today, we’re happy to announce the addition of the Bulk Creative (CSV), which promises to create a smoother and more efficient experience on our platform, whilst helping you save valuable time.
The Next Ad’s brand new Bulk Creative is about to make life a whole lot easier for advertisers, but what is it exactly?
Well, simply put, the Bulk Creative option on The Next Ad will enable users to create hundreds (literally) of ad creatives in just a few seconds, provided you set up the right preparations in advance. This has been made possible by allowing users to create new ads by uploading a text-based CSV containing all required information of the creatives as well as a reference to each target audience. This will also give teams the opportunity to effectively collaborate by creating and publishing several creatives at once.
I know, it almost sounds like it’s too good to be true, right?
At present, the Bulk Creative works for the following ad types:
The main benefit for our customers using this feature is an obvious one: saving precious time! By reducing the time you usually spend on creating numerous creatives, you can now set your focus on other issues.
In turn, this promises to make your creatives-creating experience on our platform far more efficient and organised than it has ever been. It’s a guaranteed winner!
Don’t take our word for it though, here’s what the Biddable Director had to say: “Currently we can scale 30 assets (one per market) in one campaign. If we have to set up 30 assets in 30 different campaigns, I would estimate this will take at least 4 times as long, this is not as bad as it could be due to the economies of scale of using a platform like The Next Ad.”
Using the Bulk Creative (CSV) requires a little bit of preparation, but that certainly doesn’t mean it’s difficult or complicated to use.
To get started, gather the URL links of your assets (images/videos) that you’re planning to use for your upcoming creatives. These can be URLs that you have been stored on your own server, links to assets within your WordPress Media Library, forced download URLs on Dropbox or simply asset URLs that are safely stored in your The Next Ad Media Library.
The URLs to the assets that are stored in your Media Library can then be extracted through the new exporting option in our Media Library. Planning to use new assets? Then it’s advisable to first upload these to the Media Library before continuing. Once all of your required assets have been placed in the Media Library, you may proceed to exporting your selection to CSV.
Then, you’ll have to create the new campaign as you normally would do. After setting up your Campaign Settings and Audiences, click on ‘Export Selection to CSV’. This will create a report that will contain the Audience ID that you will need in order to use the Bulk Creative feature.
Next, you’ll be required to start completing your templates before updating the pre-filled templates which will in turn generate the ads that you want to create. In the CSV file, each following row should correspond to a single ad; the templates each contain multiple different sample ads. However, it wouldn’t be called the Bulk Creative if you couldn’t create any number of ads that you desire, ranging from just a single 1 to hundreds 100 creatives if you desire!
After uploading your CSV, click “Import” to start creating your ads. If validation of the template is successful, you’ll be shown a modal mentioning the number of successfully created ads.
That’s it! You can now start creating hundreds and hundreds of ads in the space of just a few seconds! Cool, right? It may sound more complicated than it actually is, so we urge you to give it a try and if you’ve got any questions, we’re here to help!
